In 2018, our university will usher her 70th birthday. In order to fully demonstrate our university's great achievements in development , inherit the fine traditions of our school and gather strength from our alumnus and society, we’ve decided to hold a series of celebrations themed Memory · Development · Creation since October 2017. Besides, we’ve decided to celebrate the 70th anniversary on Sunday, October 28, 2018. To ensure the high-efficiency and order of our work, the following plan was made:
Ⅰ. Guiding ideology
The work is guided by The 19th National Congress of the CPC and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jingpin’s series of speeches. According to Four-Pronged Comprehensive Strategy and the integrated deployment of higher education reform, we thoroughly implement the spirit of College ideological and political work conference; take high moral values establishment and people cultivation as the key link; inherit and develop revolutionary tradition,;carry forward Top discipline construction. Focusing on the theme of Memory · development · creation, we’ll carry out a series of commemorative activities in academic, culture, alumnus three ways to achieve our goal, to meet our celebration with development and to develop our school with celebration.
Ⅱ. Main activities
(I) Academic sector.
1. Launch the plan of First-class Discipline Construction.
2. Launch the Wenlan elite talent-development program.
3. Launch the Celebrity Forum series of symposiums.
4. Hold forum with college presidents in Economics and Law On Sunday, October 28, 2018.
5. Revise Classics of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and The history of Academic Deciplines.
6. Build museum of Chinese accounting history.
7. Carry out forum with dean of law schools from the Chinese and foreign universities.
(Ⅱ) The cultural sector
1. Hold a commemorative meeting on Sunday morning, October 28, 2018.
2. Hold the ceremony for the confluence of water.
3. Hold sculpture of important historical figures completion ceremony.
4. Revise the history of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law
5. Carry out the exhibition of achievements in education.
6. Carry out exhibition of the teachers and students’ Works.
7. Have the evening party on Sunday, October 28, 2018.
(Ⅲ) Alumni sector
1. Hold the meeting of Alumni association council/foundation council.
2. Carry out the ceremony for Issuing alumni card.
3. Carry out the homecoming activities of alumni.
4. Set up associations of alumni entrepreneurs.
5. Expand the organizational forms of alumni associations.
6. Issue white paper on alumni development
7. The foundation embarks on a fundraising of special donation .
Ⅲ.Institutional framework
1. The school has set up the leading group made up of Part-time workers. The office is set up in the party and school office.
2. The school will set up six working groups for organizational needs: comprehensive coordination, academic publishing, advertising copywriter, alumni working, conference reception and environmental protection.
3. Working groups are set up by all of the Functional departments and units directly subordinate to school. The major leader of the unit is the leader of the group, arranging responsible person, staff and contacting person to participate in related work.
4. Colleges set up working group. The major leader of the College is the leader of the group.
Ⅳ. Schedule
September 2017: Make the overall plan of the work for anniversary.
October 2017: Review and announce the overall plan of work. Hold the mobilization meeting on 27 October and issue Notice NO.1 on October 28;
November 2017: Review Financing plan of school and work plans of each college and working group;
December 2017 - October 2018: Implement various work plans.
Ⅴ.The relevant requirements

(Ⅱ) Organize carefully to guarantee the implementation of the act efficiently
(Ⅲ) Be pragmatic and every penny count.
